This week’s mobile short video class brought together a perfect mix of storytelling and delicious creativity.
Participant Qin surprised the class by bringing freshly made green rice balls (青团) and asked Teacher Li for help on how to film them in a beautiful and appetizing way. With patience and clear tips, Teacher Li explained the importance of framing, using natural light, and capturing details that make food look as good on screen as it tastes in person.
After the mini filming session, Qin generously shared her treats and even taught us how to make them — turning the class into a warm, hands-on learning experience.
At the same time, many classmates were intrigued by the handheld camera gimbal that Teacher Li brought in. This stabilizer tool helps create smooth, steady shots — perfect for mobile videos that look polished and professional.
As always, the classroom gives us the foundation, but real growth comes with practice. Our upcoming community party on June 16 will be the perfect chance to use these skills and capture real moments worth remembering.
