On June 9, 2025, the Vaughan Multicultural Community Association (VMCA) kicked off another inspiring session of its “Embracing Technology in the Golden Age” program. The classroom was buzzing with eager curiosity bright and early at 9:00 a.m.
Under the patient and practical guidance of Teacher Li, participants brought their laptops for a hands-on experience focused on mastering essential digital skills. Together, they explored how to upload and manage photos, clear device storage, and navigate common everyday functions.
For many, this was their first time engaging with these digital tools. The sense of accomplishment and pride was clear on every face as progress was made one step at a time.
This class is part of VMCA’s ongoing mission to help seniors bridge the digital divide, embrace new technology with confidence, and stay connected to the wider world — one click at a time.
