On July 14th, the VMCA summer event was elevated by the presence of a very special guest — Tea Master Zhang, who brought with her a deep sense of calm, tradition, and refinement.
As guests took their seats, the room transformed into a peaceful space where the art of Chinese tea culture came alive. Master Zhang shared the origins, types, and techniques of tea-making, while delicately demonstrating each step. Her calm demeanor and strong presence made everyone feel grounded — as if time had slowed down just for this moment.

Attendees watched in quiet fascination, many taking notes and snapping photos so they could bring the ritual home. From the temperature of the water to the swirl of the leaves, every step had its meaning. For some, this was their first real exposure to the cultural elegance of tea preparation. For others, it was a comforting return to tradition.
It wasn’t just about tasting tea — it was about sharing a moment of mindfulness, a pause in the bustle of life, and a connection to something deeper.

Thank you, Master Zhang, for gifting us a morning of serenity and cultural richness.
