On the morning of July 7, the Vaughan Multicultural Community Association (VMCA) held another successful session of its Senior Inclusion with Photography Art – Mobile Video Class.
Due to high interest and a large number of registered participants, the team arrived early at the school venue to prepare. To everyone’s delight, many participants did the same—some even arrived before 9:00 AM, eager and ready to learn. This kind of mutual enthusiasm between organizers and community members was heartwarming, and a true example of what can be achieved through collective effort.
Thanks to this teamwork, every participant was signed in smoothly without anyone being missed. A special thank-you goes out to the early arrivals who helped with setting up chairs and assisting with the check-in process—their support made everything run even more efficiently.
At 9:30 AM sharp, the class began. Since there were new members joining for the first time, the instructor thoughtfully offered a brief review of the previous session before introducing the day’s new content: CapCut (å‰ªæ˜ ) video editing software. Participants were guided step by step through the process of creating, editing, and exporting a mobile video—a practical and enjoyable way to build digital skills that can be used in daily life.

The session received strong support from local community leaders. Meanwhile, experienced members from VMCA’s photography program were present to document the event, capturing wonderful moments from behind the scenes.
This class is part of VMCA’s ongoing efforts to provide a welcoming space for seniors to learn, connect, and stay active. Through hands-on classes like this, the center continues to encourage lifelong learning, cross-cultural connection, and joyful community engagement.
