During this special time of the epidemic, many people, especially vulnerable groups like the elderly, are affected physically and psychologically to varying degrees. This project’s primary objective is to engage seniors in the community through providing a social platform for them to share and learn different healthy recipes while stimulating their mental health and social participation.
The total length of the project will be 12 months, and every month a dietitian will share different healthy recipes with the elderly and teach them how to cook via online virtual video conferencing. A healthy diet can help the elderly prevent diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer or other chronic diseases.
