What an absolutely wonderful day we had at our second big community party on July 14th! Building on the success of our first event, and with the incredible support of Teacher Ali and Tea Art Teacher Zhang, we were confident that this gathering would be even better – and it certainly delivered!
The enthusiasm was palpable from the moment we announced the event. Sign-ups poured in, immediately boosting our spirits and fueling our efforts. A huge shout-out goes to Teacher Heather, who truly went above and beyond. To ensure her baked goods were absolutely perfect, she woke up incredibly early to prepare them. Her dedication is truly admirable, and the cakes she created were as beautiful as they were delicious – a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds!

We were so excited that we arrived at the venue bright and early. We even took a video of the school entrance to help guide our first-time attendees – a big thank you to the Vaughan Multicultural Community Centre group for helping us spread the word! Teacher Bi swiftly set up the space, and with the combined efforts of Teacher Ali and Teacher Heather, everything was perfectly arranged for a smooth and welcoming experience. Tea Art Teacher Zhang’s presence was, as always, like a calming anchor, radiating a powerful and serene aura that set a wonderful tone for the day.

One of the highlights for many was undoubtedly Teacher Ali’s session. Several friends who had signed up for knitting quickly settled into her teaching area. Her experience and effective guidance ensured that everyone gained so much from her instruction. The knitting group buzzed with lively learning, interaction, and joyful exchanges. It was fantastic to see so much creativity in action!

Meanwhile, Teacher Heather generously shared her baking methods, allowing everyone to freely take photos and learn her techniques. It’s always inspiring to see how openly our teachers share their knowledge and passion with the community.
The sharing session was a real treat! Everyone enjoyed Teacher Heather’s freshly baked cakes and refreshing watermelon, all while engaging in cheerful conversations and connecting with new and old friends. And a special mention must go to Xiao Qin, who, as always, brought a delightful surprise! Her chocolate pudding was absolutely amazing – sweet yet not overly rich, with a wonderful lingering taste. We’re still kicking ourselves that we forgot to snap a picture in all the excitement!
The day concluded with a fantastic group photo, perfectly capturing this beautiful moment and the wonderful memories we made together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this second gathering such a memorable and heartwarming event. Your participation and enthusiasm are what make these community gatherings so special. We can’t wait to see you all at our next event!
