In our new horizons for seniors program, students learned practical techniques to elevate their smartphone photography and videography.
From rule-of-thirds and triangular composition to using leading lines and natural lighting — the class explored how to make each shot more dynamic and layered.
Students also practiced shooting with backlight, motion, and even creative “mirror effects” using a second phone!
With live demos, one-on-one guidance, and a new group chat to share and review work, everyone left feeling inspired.
